I am still basking in the 30° Italian sunshine following the Disney Tour to celebrate the release of the new Cars2 Movie. And what a tour it was. Mountain climb after mountain climb after mountain climb. Day after day, full of spectacular views. I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.
It was a real privilege to be asked to ride in the Disney tour, but to also deliver a speech to the Disney team about last year’s record breaking ride and the motivations behind it. It was a humbling experience to be stood before such fine athletes who, over the course of the tour, demonstrated some serious determination to fly up and down the mountainous routes. I was inspired by how hard the riders fought to complete every meter of the routes.
