We’ve stopped for a quick rest, Bens taking a quick half hour kip. Hes going strong, this part of the morning he always gets a bit tired. Russ Colins has been a legend, riding with Ben for Wick to John O’Groats and back down to where we are. Its good to have someone next to him, just to keep him chatting and going.
The support crew have found the sleeping pattern very strange. Sometimes the team members are refusing to go to bed, insisting they are not tired! Eventually they areĀ persuadedĀ but then are up 2 hours later, where as other times they are slurring their words and falling asleep. It seems to be completely unprecitable how they feel! still its fair to say Ben is the most tired of the group. Knocking on the 1000 mile door now, should reach it an hour or so after this rest stop.
Keep the support coming!

Well done Russ, we could tell it was hard going from Inverness up to JOG. Ben mentioned on Sat morning that all attempts since the record was set in 2000, have given up at JOG. So he’s well ahead!!
